When
Emporium day:
Dates and times for each job are to be confirmed.
Before the Emporium
- Set-up: Move boxes from the Annex to the gym, set up tables, display donations, hang curtains and lights, and set up cashier and wrapping stations.
On Emporium day
- Cashier: Tally items, then hand over to a wrapper.
- Wrapper: Wrap gifts, make sure name tags are secure, and place items in bags or boxes. This is usually the busiest job.
- Helper: Keep tables orderly, help students and answer questions.
After the sale
- Take-down: Pack leftovers, take down tables, lights and stations, and deal with garbage and recycling.
- Leftover drivers: Take boxes to a donation centre, since there's no storage for them.
